The Portsmouth Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for the vandalism and thefts from vending machines at various Portsmouth hotels.
On Sunday, January 6th, 2008, it was discovered that the Holiday Inn, the Best Western, the Anchorage Inn and the Hampton Inn all had damage and some had cash stolen from their vending machines. All of these hotels are located at the Portsmouth Traffic Circle or nearby Woodbury Avenue in Portsmouth.
