The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating two burglaries that took place some time overnight into the early morning hours of this morning, Thursday, January 24th, 2008.
The burglaries occurred at businesses located across the street from each other on Lafayette Road in Portsmouth.The businesses are McDonald’s Restaurant located at 1000 Lafayette Road, and Little Blessings Day Care located at 1035 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth.
Detectives responded and processed both crime scenes where evidence was retrieved.
